Overview
Social and support group for South Asian and Middle Eastern LGBTQ people. The group originally started up in February 2014 for South Asian gay and bisexual men and since April 2017 has diversified to provide social support for South Asian and Middle Eastern LGBTQ people.
The group aims to promote peer-led social support and well as facilitate creating friendships outside of the group too. As well as meeting on a monthly basis, we also do social outings and a programme of events is created and shaped by the group members.
The monthly is facilitated by Makinder Chahal, a health promotion worker from Trade Sexual health, who is from a South Asian background.
